Issue Nº3 – In Memoriam

This design, incorporating Mother’s mantra, is by François Samson. François lived in Auroville between 1979 and 1986. He planted many trees and helped bring beauty to an eroded landscape. For some years he had wanted to return to Auroville – “where my heart is” – but had been unable to do so. Francois died on 10th December, 1988, in Switzerland. His work remains.
