Pashi left his body on 20th October 2023 at the age of 91, after having dedicated his life to his most beloved idea and project of Auroville.

On September 26th, Aurovilian Major General Krishna Tewari (ret’d.) passed away in his house at Auromodèle surrounded by his family and friends, at the age of 94.

Long-term Aurovilian Lachmanben (Lachman Melvani) peacefully left her body in the early morning on the eve of the Mother’s Birthday, February 20, in her house in Aurobrindavan.

Danaan Parry helped organize the recent American-Soviet-Indian exchange In Auroville. At one time he was a nuclear physicist, working for the U.S.

François Gautier has lived in Auroville since 1969. He works in Pour Tous, teaches at school and assists with the childrens’ sports programme.
