RA L’Avenir reported that on the morning of Thursday, September 19th, the Nine Palms Forest Stewards discovered an area had been cleared without prior notice for a new Eco-Service landfill.

People greatly appreciate Kireet for continuing the work that had been started by pioneering greenbelters. Greenbelters continue to improve water conservation in the lands that they steward and with the funds they have.

The article “Auroville’s spirituality” in the August-September 2015 issue of Auroville Today contains a section on the Auroville schools. Concern is expressed that many of Auroville’s youngsters hardly know of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother and that most of the Auroville schools do not communicate anything of their vision.
In memoriam:
On April 16th, long-term Aurovilian Klaus (Groujean) of Nine Palms passed away after a year-long struggle with complications of liver cancer.
