Inner being

In October 2024 we interviewed Dan Capdeville who launched the “Seeking Our Inner Being” project in January of that year. Now, one and a half years later, he has decided to formally close it down.

Francesco, once a professional snowboarder (or “rider” in snowboarding lingo) from a mountain village in Italy, shifted paths after a family crisis and a snowboarding accident.

In January this year, a project was launched called “Seeking Our Inner Being”. It aimed to gather information on individuals’ connections with their inner being or psychic being, as defined by Sri Aurobindo and The Mother.

Hufreesh has had many exhibitions of her work in Auroville, but perhaps this is the most evocative so far. The paintings, in their swirling lines and simple colours, seem to strip away surface inessentials to reveal something deeper, something more inwardly ‘vibratory’ than the simply pictorial.

A few months ago, announcements appeared on various Auroville forums and in the News and Notes inviting Aurovilians to share their own experiential journey of seeking their inner/ psychic being.
