As part of Auroville’s integral approach to education, sports plays a large role in our lives. In memoriam - Anand Agrawal

Anand Agrawal

On October 30th, Anand Agrawal left his body due to kidney failure. He was 43 years old. Anand, who grew up as student in the Ashram, came 15 years ago to Auroville and had been working as sports teacher in Dehashakti and Deepanam.

Budokan house warming

On August 30th, a house-warming of the “Auroville Budokan” (House of Martial Arts), the new Aikido Dojo, at Dehashakti/Dana took place. The formal inauguration will take place during the forthcoming meetings of the Governing Board and International Advisory Council in the beginning of October.
