In November this year, Aurovilian Dr. Mira Aster Patel, in recognition of “her invaluable contribution in developing Auroville”, was awarded the Auro Ratna award from the Overman Foundation in a ceremony in the Hall of Harmony of the Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram.

Dr. Aster Patel was awarded the Auro Ratna Award of the Overman Foundation on November 25, 2018, in a ceremony in the Hall of Harmony, Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education, Pondicherry.

The doors are four meters high, each smoothly rotating on two ball bearings. The scene is the new Centre for Indian Culture at Bharat Nivas, the construction of which is in the finishing phases.
