Born in Montreal, Canada in 1950, Jean-Marie arrived in Auroville in 1998. He lived in Siddhartha Forest where he passed away on the night of 31st December 2024, 74 years old.

Auralee (Audrey McCormick) passed away on May 25, in Montreal, Canada. She was 77, and had been treated for cancer. Auralee came to Auroville in 1986 with her two sons, Michale (Shwetaketu) and John.

On August 8th, long-term Canadian Aurovilian Janet Fearn quietly and peacefully slipped away from her severely emaciated body after weeks of gently fading during which loving contact with family members and friends always remained.

Long term Aurovilian Menaig passed away on March 26th at the intensive care unit of the Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences due to multiple organ failure leading to cardiac shock.
