Judith joined Auroville in 1971. Here she talks about her journey.

After completing his higher studies at Delhi University, Dr. Jai Singh joined Auroville in 1992. His wife and children joined a year later. Jai has been a member of the Auroville Council, and has also worked at SEWA, Village Action and New Creation School.

Shraddhavan, the executive of Savitri Bhavan, left her body on July 19th, 2022, aged 80 years.

Janet Fearn was one of the very first people to settle in Auroville. In 1997, along with her friend, Philip Melville, she decided to create a programme for Newcomers which would tell them about the early history of Auroville.

Some years ago, Vikas (Alan Vickers), one of the pioneer Aurovilians, brought out a slim anthology of Auroville poetry called 50 poems from Auroville.

Savitri Bhavan has published its fifth volume of The English of Savitri, which deals with the first four Cantos of Book Two, the Book of the Traveller of the Worlds, the longest chapter of Savitri.

The Auro Vidya Retreat, a branch of the Pondicherry-based Sri Aurobindo Centre for Advanced Research (SACAR) directed by Dr. Ananda Reddy, was inaugurated at its location near Auroville on September 9, 2018.

Barely three months after the publication of the third volume of The English of Savitri series, Savitri Bhavan has published the fourth volume, dealing with Book Ten, The Book of the Double Twilight.

Prasad joined Auroville in 1989. He has taught in New Creation School, worked on the Matrimandir and at present manages the construction unit Auromira which is involved in the completion of the Sunship and Kalpana projects.

The English of Savitri Volume 2 deals with Book Three, The Book of the Divine Mother. This volume, the second in the series The English of Savitri, is based on classes led by Shraddhavan at Savitri Bhavan.

While the topic of youth is getting a lot of attention in Auroville recently, the focus on youth empowerment has long been a mission of the Pavilion of Tibetan Culture.

Francis and Doris are the Auroville Video Productions team which, for the past ten years, has been documenting the history and unfolding of Auroville.
